Now CTV Atlantic, formerly ATV--never actually uses its callsign on air. Regional news broadcasts are still filmed in the same building as the ones in the clips (I ride by it most days on my way to class), with some of the same news anchors on-board.

I was raised on Global TV (Ontario, Canada)

Because I lived in the sticks (and still do!) and it was the only channel we got back then, in the days when satellite dishes were too expensive and cable just wasn't available here. This was when it was still a kickass Toronto station and not part of a giant media conglomerate like it is today.
