vintagephoto reminded me of a commercial that I saw a long long time ago :-)
Until today, I didn't realize that this commercial was a parody of a 1957 April Fool's Day joke about spaghetti trees. To be honest, I was kind of confused about where spaghetti came from as a kid :-D

slinkslowdown.livejournal.comI'd actually never seen these hilarious microwave style Jiffy Pop bowls before! The ad is older than I am [just by a year, lol] but I grew up only eating the stove-top version of Jiffy Pop.
