Now CTV Atlantic, formerly ATV--never actually uses its callsign on air. Regional news broadcasts are still filmed in the same building as the ones in the clips (I ride by it most days on my way to class), with some of the same news anchors on-board.

Story time: I actually met the guy who's been hosting the ATV/CTV Atlantic 6 o'clock news since 1993 one day, when I was walking down the street. I double-taked--because I'm a young whippersnapper, and he's been "the guy on the news" as long as I can remember.

I still call it ATV, although it's been CTV for how many years now?

I've never seen Steve Murphy in the wild, although I have seen Jim Nunn a couple of times.

I still want to call it ATV, too.

When I was searching for clips for this post, I was hoping to find some of Dave Wright; he was a little before my time (I don't remember him on the air, but I'm sure he was on the TV in the background when I was very small), but classic.
