Here is the Icon Request Post i posted on the 1st....no one really posted any requests but our community member carabaas very generously posted MANY icons on that post based on vintage ads, so please check them out!!!

If anyone has icons they have made based on vintage ads, today is THE day to post them....you can post them without an ad even, but all the icons must be based on vintage ads, that's the only rule for amnesty on posting a post without an ad today.....

Like i said, this is a 'new' thing and we'll see how it goes....on the 1st of October (it's almost october?!?!?!?!) i'll post another icon request post and we'll have another 'icon of the month' day on the 15th....

I have created some icons from ads. I hope I did this right, but I will fix it if not. These are all created from vintage ads and I can direct you to the original ad for most of these if requested.

hey, since we're still getting use to the icon posting, i'm giving everyone a 'hall & oates' pass and y'all can post posts with icons made from vintage ads without an ad tomorrow too!! so yeah, another amnesty day---but saying 'hall & oates' pass is funnier, to me anyway....humor me please??

if you have a lot of icons, i would suggest maybe putting some of 'em under a lj-cut....other than that, please post 'em!! next month on the 1st i will be posting an 'icon request' post again, then next october 15th will also be 'icon day'....
