LAST DAY TO VOTE!!! Please vote on this entry here!!!!

Please help pick next month's theme!!! on this entry here!!!

And tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day, let's have a day theme of 'green' as i think we usually do....movie trailer day too....movie titles with the word 'green' in the title/actors with the name 'green'/ even tv shows too.....(and PLEASE, movie/tv trailers/commercials should be behind a cut).....regular ads for products with the word 'green' in the name, etc.....

if you celebrate St. Patrick's Day, please do so responsibly and have a designated driver if need be!! if you do not celebrate in such a manner, please be cautious for others---i personally try to stay off the roads on st. patrick's day, there's also increased police patrols and i have a lead foot at times.....

LeadPaint 28Feb1907

This advertisement from the February 28, 1907 issue of the Watonga Republican (Watonga, Oklahoma) stresses "Every keg which bears the Dutch Boy trademark is positively guaranteed to be absolutely Pure White Lead made by the Old Dutch Process"
From the Harvard Business School website:

"The National Lead Company, now known as NL Industries, began business in Philadelphia in 1772. Several lead manufacturers banded together and incorporated as the National Lead Company in 1891. The company has been well known for its white-lead paints, sold since 1907 under the Dutch Boy label."

Stopette, 1952

"Poof - There Goes Perspiration!"

Fun facts: Stopette sponsored "What's My Line", and the inventor of the spray bottle was the owner.  The company also produced Finesse, still a popular hair care product.
