I want a strapless bra that ACTUALLY SUPPORTS, cost be d****d! :-(
Even the kind with the elastic on the top and bottom don't really work (though they fail less than the others, especially the elasticized ones that are also under wires).
seriously, I wore a strapless... contraption, it was like a bodysuit with bra cups, to my prom 13 years ago, and I spent most of the night in the ladies' room, holding the sides and jumping up and down to fit and settle them back in. I was a 36DD then and now I am a 40H, and I cringe at the thought of trying to build something like that in physics class back then.
VS is good if you're a 36DD, perhaps a 38DD, or smaller. If you're above that, ESPECIALLY if you're fat, they are rude and dismissive of you in their stores.
Yeah, VS has the attitude that if you're bigger than a D, just go up band sizes until your boobs fit the cups. Which eliminates all support. As someone much bigger than that, I did find a Fantasie strapless that actually supports pretty well. It had better, for $85. It separates a bit much, but most strapless dresses like to push things inward, so it balanced out well.
