A couple of commercials featuring Great Western Garment Co.. GWG was a long running Canadian clothing manufacturer founded in 1911 in my hometown, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I wondered why one never hears of GWG anymore and it turns out that Levi Strauss shuttered the brand in 2004. The historic downtown factory stills stands.
I was the right age to have watched these commercials, but for some reason I don't recall them.
