Excellent!! Cagney was such an amazing dancer - he'd just fly across the stage!

I read that his dance down the stairs in the White House at the end of the movie was a bit of impromptu business by him and was practically perfect in one take! :)

One of my favorite movies! Jimmy Cagney's only Oscar, I believe, and what a performance he gave. It fit perfectly as 1942 needed a lot of flag-waving with the war news grim for the Allies.
