1981 Australian HangTen™ TV Commercial

This is a commercial I never saw before, of course; I think a lot of us remember the HangTen™ brand—at least, I do—but may not have known it was a surfers' brand—I didn't.

I just liked the feet; most people just like the feet.

I don't remember the ad but I sure remember the brand; they used to sponsor the motocross competition, and I had a Hang Ten T shirt. "Hang ten" is a surfing term meaning to stand on the end of the surfboard with all ten toes off the board, or curled beneath. The brand was the equivalent of today's Billabong or Quicksilver.
