I'll never get over the words "Lysol" and "douche" used together. Makes me cringe inside.

I got all tripped up with what day it was. I was to fly out Monday, and they they moved me a day ahead due to the storm coming and now I am posting everything a day off!

I am a mess... :)

i just thought you were doing scheduled ads and this one slipped through!!

i've never heard of flights being moved UP a day!! we have a winter storm warning now.....a foot + of snow....thus far I just see a light coating of snow.....

Perhaps if they presented this as "douche more so hubby goes diving for pearls more often".

That would probably be a better sales pitch for a product that smells better than lysol... like lemon pledge or .. pine sol.

The idea of Lysol as a douche made shriek out loud; husband actually asked what was wrong. I "love" how the advertisements always suggest women smell bad but (though they may exist) I've yet to see any advertisement suggesting men smell bad.

yeah...because no woman ever pulled away from a man because of that awful ball sack odor, right? *massive eyeroll*

and it's hella easier to clean everything when everything is EXternal!

There's a whole underlying thing where they are saying "kills germs" but germs is actually super secret code for sperm. But aside from the fact that it was a spectacularly ineffective form of birth control, the sad irony in talking about 'daintiness' is that lysol kills all the good bacteria that stops icky gross bacteria from running wild. And once all the icky gross bacteria gets a chance to run wild, it's not ... dainty.
