To tell you the truth, I didn't know if he was still alive; he was totally the best, especially as the announcer of Saturday Night Live:

I knew he did some advertising VOs, but my searches were unsuccessful. Thanks for posting this.

According to IMDB, Don Pardo and Bob Hope were the only 2 people to have lifetime contracts with NBC.

In a rare and slightly self-deprecating acting role, he had a brief appearance as TGS announcer Sid on 30 Rock. I will post the video in a reply, but you will probably need to unspam me.

It's Tergis with Trekkie John John and Jimmy Moo

Hmm. I still get that message so I assumed other people couldn't see whatever I posted.

I was sad to hear he passed away. He was pretty much a voice I grew up with!

But he had such a great life!

I think my favorite thing he ever did was one of the times Frank Zappa appeared on SNL and Don did the voice-over for I'm the Slime:

Other than SNL, this is the main thing that comes to mind - "Don Pardo, tell me what I didn't win!"
