Tandy owned Radio Shack. I think they changed the name of everything to Radio Shack awhile ago, though. Our first computer was a TRS-80, back in 1980. My brother still has it and it still, amazingly, works, all 16k of memory! It was fantastic for text based adventures, graphics, not so much. ;)

Ah, yes: the TRaSh-80. All the geeks in my high school went to the computer lab to use them.

Wow, we didn't even have computer labs at my school until at least a couple of years after the BBC B came out over here.
