I never saw the "jello monstrosity purgatory" tag before. I don't know how it came about, but I sure hope that's what the kid is holding.

Because being a poor child scraping together a meager living on the streets is as fun as mermaids and magic castles.

IKR? And that's not even the worst thing I've seen. People had some serious issues back then. Well, still do, obviously, when people totally lose it over a Cheerios ad with a mixed-race family! At least the ad agency wasn't actually promoting racism that time.
