Since we're picking on AT&T.

I guess they'll go the distance as long as they don't have to drive that old Econoline or whatever.

And I guess going the distance means avoiding multiculturalism. This could also pass as a political ad. Vote for the man. No, the white man. No, the white man in the business suit. No, the one without a hat. Yeah, that guy. He looks like America! ;)

I remember hating these ads as a kid. They'd just been broken up and were acting like switching long distance providers was treason. This was at the height of the Reagan administration, so switching to MCI felt almost punk. Oh, and don't forget their negative Death Star logo.
