One of my cousins had "Voice of the Mummy." Didn't make much of an impression on me, because I remember virtually nothing about it. Played "Stay Alive" and "Clue," those were really big. And a friend of mine had a Ouija board when I was in high school.

I totally had that Barnabas Collins game. Also Stay Alive.

I will be playing that Barnabas Collins game on Halloween--my best friend and I have a tradition of that, going back many years. It is her game--she got it when she was 9 and has kept it ever since.

I love this ad! Thanks for posting :) I'm heading over to eBay to see what these games are going for these days.

I have only played clue. I dont think an of the other games were around for me. We never had toys as a youth, just tons of board games.

This is my favorite and I still own it today. I cant wait for next year, where 1993 ads will be allowed.

I really miss Saf-t-pops and those Caramel Rolls but I never had Chum Gum. (God knows I'd remember if I did.) I played Clue and Ouija and I enjoyed both but I'd love to play the Dark Shadows game as I'm such a fan.

It's hilarious how old fashioned boys' costumes had the name and sometimes picture of the character on them. Just in case anyone was wondering. I have fond memories of playing the Dark Shadows game at my grandma's house, sadly I believe she donated it to her church's garage sale before she died so I never had the chance to own it.

stay alive, the green ghost, ouija board (although a fucking BAD IDEA) and manhunt. :D

we never had store-bought halloween costumes. mama turned the closets inside out and hit up thrift stores for dual-use stuff, and did our makeup herself. OR she bought fabric and sewed stuff we could use after halloween, too. we always had a great time, so we didnt feel like we lost out any at all.

I have played clue and heard of Ouija, but I've not heard of the others (I'm probably not old enough to remember them being around).

I remember being little, and some of the local banks would give away Saf-T-Pops to the kids. I've forgotten about those things!
