American of Martinsville, 1960s

My favorite, despite the blurring - "intangible artistry"?  "wistful reminder"?

There's so little in this that makes sense - from the tricorner Revolutionary War hat to the musket and ?plastic trash bag? in front of the credenza, the moonlit Southern ambiance with a Cape Cod lighthouse, and of course the model's dramatic/terrified pose in her ballgown and full-length gloves.

Care to speculate on a story for this one?

I'd be staggered too to come home from the party (and several cocktails) to find the credenza in the front yard.

I didn't bother to see Uma's attempt. Sacrilege.

I'm going to blame the ghost of the colonial gunman who left his tricorn and rifle. I've heard of poltergeist activity but this is ridiculous.

Clearly she shot someone (a Revolutionary war re-enactor, perhaps) and the plastic on the ground is for dragging the body away. Because it wouldn't fit in the credenza.

And she would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for those meddling kids!

Holy crap, it's my bedroom set! The Virginia House maple ad is showing the two dressers, mirror and bed that came with my house, which i still use. "Built to Endure" is no idle boast. This stuff is like iron, and still in fantastic shape after all these years. I really wish I had the nightstand and dressing table to go with it, though. The original buyers went for the 79.95 special, I guess!

It is amazing that what was cheap furniture back then is built better than the expensive stuff is today.

Her favourite credenza decided to become a pirate, and came to bid adieu to her.

I think the company didn't know what they wanted, and the ad agency tried gamely to combine all the ideas they were waffling over :)

It's a vampire credenza from the Revolutionary War,hiding in attics during the day because there's always old furniture up there and nobody would notice. The great thing is, if you're a vampire credenza, you carry your own coffin.

I want the first and last gown. The Cassini looks like Oleg put a train on the side for the hell of it.

I love the gown in the third ad and the livingroom in the second ad.

Maybe she stumbled upon a stupid robbery in progress?
