I wonder how much brain damage the Dutch Boy has...

I was thinking the same thing, hallucination is never a good sign.

Exactly. When your kid's friends are gay lightbulbs with legs and giant shoes, who also have legs, but don't themselves wear shoes, it's time to call a doctor! That college fund you set up? Yeah, that's gonna go to medical bills and possibly funeral costs.

I wonder how much lead the geniuses who came up with this campaign had been exposed to.

Whoa, he's tripping BIG time!

"A pair of Rubbers entered..." *snickers like a twelve year old*

"The first one at the party was gay Electric Light. He said, "I'm very brillant, I always shine at night."" :D

I wonder whether the Dutch Boy's clothes were actually worn by real dutch boys, at any time... I also wonder about the hair.
Wide, too-short trousers like that were part of some provinces' traditional dress, but I've never seen them with shoulder straps.

Interesting. I wonder if the too-short, wide pants were combined with overalls, to give the Dutch Boy a more workman-like appearance? Overalls at that time were associated with hard work...

That would make sense, and it wouldn't surprise me at all if you were right.
