OOPS!!! i've been a bad mod!! i will go sit in a corner for a 'time out'!! i forgot to timely post our contest winner!!!! have had some things going on in my hood and helping an elderly neighbor who's getting harassed by a dangerous neighbor, then i've been enjoying being able to sit in front of my house (haven't been able to do that for years) and catch some rays and read books (very selfish, but very good for the soul and my tan :) .....

Floyd Bennett Field is now a museum and large park for festivals.
Similarly, Mitchel Field is the "Cradle of Aviation" museum
whereas Roosevelt Field is now just a shopping mall.
