I don't remember this video game but I want to play it.

Nothing conveys Journey's signature sound better than hearing it in 8 bit:

... Wow. As someone who played Atari's E.T. as a child and considered it a decent game, I am left wondering what the hell I just watched.

Quite interesting that the love-crazed groupies' "hearts" make them look like nothing but giant bras on legs. Also that the premise of the game seems to be "if any of these people get through, we're docking your pay." Sure sounds like a swell bunch to be working for. And of course: Scarab. Escape. Vehicle.

It took me some time to figure out that the scarab escape vehicle was what they said it was. I was definitely seeing something else there!

Going by this picture, I'd say just about anybody is hot enough to play with Journey.

So, the guy on the far right (sorry folks, I'm not a Journey fan)...do you think he has a complex about having his nose shot from straight on, or did the photographer direct him like that?

I've played it and It's terrible, but also sort of hilarious.

Icon love.

Got the rom of it on a NES emulator... beat it in 15 minutes... I remember it took me two hours or more when I was a kid...

The guy on the left has a weird sort of "come hither" look.

I never played the Atari version but oh boy, do I remember the arcade game. I don't know how much of my allowance that thing ate, but I never got to the end. Apparently it had a cassette player inside and if you actually did all the challenges and rescued all the instruments, it would play a song from the cassette - apparently this is why most of these games don't work anymore. Cassettes (and cassette players) just weren't that rugged.

Hmm, yeah seems interesting... I'm guessing it was for atari? The cover artwork on the bottom corner kind of makes it look like a pinball machine though.

So should I have wanted someone to have created a Hall & Oates video game or not?

I remember this game in the arcade! I also saw them in concert when they toured for that album. It was the first rock concert I ever went to. Ah, junior high days (you sucked except for the music)!

not that anyone cares, but my husband sometimes gets told he looks like one of the guys from Journey. Now that I see them in a line, I see it (the fellow on the far right)
