I am not aware that A&P ever was in Australia? And reference to Pacific Coast and the spelling in the text (ie flavor) would also indicate this is a US advert. Why would one think this ad has anything to do with Australia?

Because one misfiled it while collecting ads from a website with actual Australian advertising and because one did not check one's facts carefully before posting. One shall edit it soon.
