Back when blow dryers were radical. And orange.

She looks kind of cute, all bald and all. Also kind of familiar, does anyone know who she is? A refugee from Alien Nation? Persis Khambatta's sister?

My first thought was "cancer patient" and I expected to see something about how the company supports some cancer charity, then I realized she has eyebrows and lashes.

So let's go with alien. Perhaps a Deltan? They're usually pretty hot.

She totally reminded me of a Deltan as well.

Flip 'n Style also took her Alien Nation spots off her head - want a hair dryer!

I love the copy here - the whole thing has a delightful kookiness.

I appreciate the kookiness, but what where they smoking to come up with the idea to think a hairdryer should replace a teddy-bear? Never mind, it was the 70s after all....

"So if you run into a cloudburst or fall into a swimming pool..."

Don't use the Flip N'Style at the same time. That's how our model lost her hair.

I would say it was the lady from "Star Trek: The Motion Picture", but that came out in 1979; I'm sure she wouldn't have needed her head shaved *that* far in advance!

"just slightly ahead of our time"

Heh, apparently we still haven't caught up with them.
