First off---we have our non-Cyrillic rating back! :) I hadn't fiddled with anything and I haven't gotten a reply from anyone (well I might have, but I'm currently having some mail server issues and am getting some emails hours/days later) but we are BACK in the right ratings group and are ranked at #41 in community ratings! YEAH!!!

Here is a head's up of our upcoming events and of course I'll be posting about New Year's Eve again tomorrow and the other events the day before too as usual. And this post I did before Christmas has a walk thru on how to do scheduled posts if you are not going to be around and wish to participate right here. I think I'll make a 'new' wholly separate 'how to do a scheduled post' post with only those instructions/screen caps and then put that in our sticky post up top and also on our profile page for ease in finding in the future to help people.

December 31, Wednesday New Year's Eve: ONE DAY EVENT, Booze ads, party ads, let's have fun! And OF COURSE non-alcoholic beverage ads are welcome!! However you celebrate is welcome!! AND I will again have an open post stickied on top in case you're home alone, bored, stuck around people you need to vent about, wanna express dismay at how time flies, etc. I will also be promoting us this day---in the CORRECT place this time! :)

January 1, Thursday, ONE DAY EVENT, Welcome 1995 ads, we have a 20 year rule for ads and this is the first day for 1995 ads because it's the first day of 2015 and really?! 2015 already? I swear some days in my mind it's still 1983 or 1994! I will also be promoting us this day too! And the open post will also still be up.

Perhaps you have some ads for upcoming events but you won't be around to post them? (Or even want to schedule a post for your own LJ?) Well, let me walk you through how to do a scheduled post! Many thanks to

write_light for first telling members about how to do this. I've tried this myself and it DOES work! I've done some screen caps, as I know I learn quicker sometimes with a visual. And thanks to

ms_geekette for pointing out that if your posting here (or in any community) is moderated, you can't use this. (Re: moderated posting here, after you've posted a couple posts, I'll approve you for unmoderated, THEN you can use this here in Vintage Ads! :)

Just go to create a new post, as you normally would. That is how the date normally looks, but you see that 'change' next to the time? Please hit that.

Now you have this, where you can adjust the date and time.

As soon as you put the cursor in the date box to change the day a calendar pops up to select the date (or to even change the month).

Once you've selected your date, change the time. Please remember, time must be in 24 hour increments. As in 6pm must be as 18:00. I guess that's military time?

Do your post as normal, then hit post and you get this.

If later on you want to edit your post, change something, etc. You can find your scheduled posts when you hit your 'journal' tab.
