This made me realize I haven't eaten (or even seen) fruit cocktail like that since I was a child in the 70s and would often get a little mini-can in my lunchbox.

I feel like I also saw a lot of vinyl tile growing up (especially in school classrooms), but I had no idea it came in so many colours. I always saw beige/grey. So dull and it always looked dirty and smudgy.

We had #923 of the vinyl floor tiles when I was a kid. If you dropped a raisin, you'd never find it again.

i love the floor tiles
i suppose they really are dated, but i would put them in the kitchen, the blues or greens, maybe the greys
except that they are made of asbestos, so, not those specifically

& the pies, yeah, some of them are kinda yuck looking
but i have made pudding pies in store bought graham crusts a couple times, with whipped cream on top
its not really baking, but its quick & they are actually kinda good
