Eventually

Clicking on the photo will take you to a page in my flickr, where you can find a larger size if you'd like to see it bigger, or look at the one next to it and see the sign for "Hofflin, the Middy Blouse Man" that stands next to it.

On a wall in downtown Norfolk, Virginia. Taken before I got a digital camera in 2003. There's a similar sign on a wall in Holyoke, Massachusetts, but without any of the figures. I just dug through four years of my photos, and apparently I didn't regard it as worth the effort to photograph. Go figure.

I remember Happy Cat, my grandmother used to feed it to her cat when I was about six or seven, I think.

Fluffy kitty!

(also, query: do lions, tigers, etc. count as "cats" or is it just housecats for this contest?)

Savon extra LE CHAT, 1900

The Regal Set, from Lady Buxton, 1961

This is a touching story.

Much too touching for words. To know what these leather goods have to tell, you must read them with your fingertips. Only then will you really feel how soft they are, how wonderfully smooth. But your eyes can tell you of their graceful shapes,  their custom-look stitched detail. The Regal Set by Lady Buxton.

I know I posted this during the story, but... contest entry!  That's OK, right?

Oh Noes! A Wise-cracking Kung Fu-fightin' Gorilla invades Wichita, Kansas!

Im thinking this was made sometime in the late 70s/early 80s.... growing up in Wichita, its fun seeing all the landmarks used (the film is like a project to try and write in every single attraction Wichita had at the time). The John Wayne character is played by Tom Lehaye, known for hosting late night horror films on local access TV from the 50s through the 90s

Mrs. Allston Boyer may be a Camel enthusiast, but her kitty looks rather wary.
