Im thinking this was made sometime in the late 70s/early 80s.... growing up in Wichita, its fun seeing all the landmarks used (the film is like a project to try and write in every single attraction Wichita had at the time). The John Wayne character is played by Tom Lehaye, known for hosting late night horror films on local access TV from the 50s through the 90s
