Thank you everyone for putting your movie trailers behind a cut today!! :-)

Our "It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time" contest starts TOMORROW!!! ...ads for things that uh, seemed like a good idea at the time....cigarettes for asthma, DDT, lead paint, etc. ....and yes, yes i believe we'll be seeing Hall & Oates again by spuzzlightyear.....

RULES

1. You MUST put at least 'contest' in the subject line....

2. All regular rules apply---please check our info page, BUT only ONE AD PER ENTRY!!! and NO ads from our 'retired ads' section---please check that tag....(and yes i need to go through and tag our recent posts, i apologize i have been slacking...i will also make a NEW tag for this contest 'contest entry--it seemed like a good idea at the time')....

and if inertia is preventing you from going to the info page: all ads must be embedded; no hotlinking, no links to sites for ads for sale; all ads 1991 and before....those would be the main ones you need to know for the contest.....

3. Video OR Print ads are acceptable!!! just one contest this month....so video & print ads will be competing against each other....

4. VOTING I despair....really....i dunno how to get it across, but voting is a YES in the comments....it can be in the subject line of a comment, it can be in the body of the comments....but last contest i saw comments, again, that said 'i vote for this one' or 'i want this to win'....i'm sorry, i can't count them as votes....i have to be fair and i will only count a YES in the comments....posters, if you see such comments on your posts, you might want to prod the commenters to post a 'yes'....i know most people know the drill....but please put a YES in the comments!! you can of course THEN put that you want it to win, etc and as always, free form conversation is welcome in the comments.....

5. of course regular ads are accepted during the contest!!!
