APRIL: let's give this a try and see how it goes....

starting April 1st--Celebs in print ads 1970-1979....print ads ONLY.....

and after we vote and declare a winner starting the next day...

April 16th--Celebs in commercials 1970-1979....commercials ONLY....

as was pointed out, you can't really compare a print ad with a commercial....i know there are some people who do not like commercial ads, though they are ads.....let's try this and see how it goes....it really won't be that much more work for me....just modding the queue (please be patient and realize that whereas i wish i could be attendant upon the internet 24/7 it's not always possible :) and tallying votes isn't that bad.....

IF this goes pretty well....in June we'll do celebs again from another decade....if it's a decade where commercials are applicable, we'll have a second separate contest, if not, then only one....we could juggle them so it's like every other time we have 2 contests in a month....such as in June we could do celebs in print ads pre-1920 or say 1920-1929, 1930-1939, 1940-1949....no commercials for those years really .....

i was thinking we could do celebs like every other month....since it was so popular a theme and there seems to be an unlimited amount of material...but do it via decade and we could even, as someone suggested, do just athletes in ads too....should athletes be excluded from april's contest???? i think maybe yes, as they'll have their own contest....

for those of us having summer, it's grilling season....though some of us are vegetarians or vegans....but we can still partake of meat ads, right??
