Yeah. Id totally wear that if we made a modern one that looked exactly the same, but (obviously) were made in different fabric-something swimable. I really really really like the ribbing and the pattern change halfway through-like an empire waist type effect. If there was a suit made to look like that that was made to work in water, I'd buy that sucker in a heartbeat.
A coworker of mine went to Girl Scout camp years ago, when they wore wool bathing suits. She said that indeed, they never really dried out till camp and morning swimtime was over.
