It looks more like the late 60's to me. 67/68, around there. Not sure when it became popular to mix animation with live action, but I know that it started some time before this ad.
The idea of it is certainly late '60s but they just didn't combine all those fashions, hair and make up styles any earlier than the mid to late '70s. His suit is straight out of Saturday Night Fever for starters, and I had that hairstyle in 1977. Trust me on this - I sell vintage clothing for a living.
Not all of the '70s lapels are massive (suits often come with dates written in them) but if you mean that they had this kind of lapel in the late '60s, that would be correct. Not sure what "sebendies" are though?
