Foosball Sportsystem Franchise (1970)

Foosball! Because eventually people will grow tired of playing those boring pinball machines and something will have to take their place. Oh, and women love hanging out in places that have these!
Another make money in you spare time working from home scheme. Back then, these scammers had to actually shell out some money for advertising instead of just filling your inbox with spam for free.

If $200 in 10 days is considered a "fortune," I think that's all the information you need right there.
Also, this might have made a good "where are they now" ad. I tried to find an "alms building" in Cincinnati. Could it be this one?

Wow, it's a THING! Waymarking.com has a whole page of old ads and current address info.

100 Toy Pirates for $1.25! Josely Company was at 1472 Broadway, New York, now home to:
TIMES SQUARE and the Condé Nast Building!
See an ACTUAL SET OF THESE!
**And my hopeless search for a pirates tag makes me wonder - why don't we have a pirate ads day next year - on Talk Like a Pirate Day! (Sept. 19, 2013) :D

the business was started in the upstairs of 72 S. Main St. Akron...72 S. Main St. today....they moved the company to West Virginia in 1914.....

Ebony Jr.: Where are they now?

Aww, so cute!

Ebony Jr. does not appear to be in print anymore, but Johnson Publishing is still at this address. As for Sunny and Honey, they continue to live on with an updated look digitally. Sorry to say, but it's a pretty sucky website. Not much for a kid to do there! :(

i was sitting here looking up local ads as i have to go out and about today and figured i could take a picture of something local....i have discovered in my 30 minute search that many akron businesses of long ago had addresses that no longer exist....even if the street still exists the #s in no way shape or form correlate! i was searching smaller businesses, not goodyear---they are here, though building new headquarters i think a mile down the road from where they were and they stopped using all the buildings in their original campus a generation ago.....bridgestone still is here and i think firestone still has an office here.....i only care about the BLIMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (which is docked in suffield as the original blimp dock is now owned by lockhead martin doing government work where they tried to build some experimental 'spy' dirigible for over $100 million that they tried to set off at like 5am some morning---cars were lining the highway to watch---and it crashed in pennsylvania.....).....
ANYWAY.....i found this.....i dunno how old this ad is, but guess what? the place IS STILL A ROLLER RINK! down in an area by a 'gentleman's club' but it's still a roller rink....so hey, you kids skate and daddy will go down the street here.....
