Captain American has no genitalia either, apparently, which is perhaps a good thing, seeing as he's looking for someone to play his "special friend". *is disturbed*

I dunno. Might just be the scan, but it looks like there's a hint of camel toe on the ol Cap'n there.

That, of course, makes it all the more disturbing.

He's a vampire people. He has no shadow and his big black self splotch should be splattered all over that curtain behind him. Were I up on my superhero lore I could probably come up with a great joke about it him and his Shadow.... but seeing as I am more of a musical theater geek, well....

Wow. I'm reaching for an appropriate response and I can't get any further than "wow."

Oh, I just noticed the smaller print at the bottom, under the address, which makes it just so much creepier.

I'd laugh at this concept, but a Spider-Man musical is being produced as we speak, so anything's possible...

To play "his very special friend". hmm

Did this ever happen?

Found this on Wikipedia: In 1985, a musical about Captain America was announced for Broadway. The piece, written by Mel Mandel and Norman Sachs, never actually premiered, although recordings of the score have surfaced.

There was also a link to a NY Times article (requires an account to read the whole thing.)
'Captain America' boasts a hero-sized $4 million budget. (http://select.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.html?res=F10714FD395C0C768CDDAD0894DD484D81&n=Top%2fReference%2fTimes%20Topics%2fPeople%2fN%2fNemy%2c%20Enid)
