I'm not getting it. The friend belongs to the man, singular: A man's best friend. What am I missing?

I saw it as trying to make plural "dealer". So often an apostrophe is used in error. Or it could be, in this case, left singular "at your dealer". I thought later after posting that it could have been set up as meaning "...your dealer's (place of business)." A legitimate though kinda old-fashioned manner of speaking. Just seems a bit awkward, is all.
