Adwatch UK
Nov. 2nd, 2008 03:02 pmTwo very stylish, very 1980s British adverts for the exciting new Austin Montego, one of a succession of cars which was touted as the saviour of British Leyland/Rover Group/MG Rover, which ultimately folded in 2005:
Shep sez: Any product - let alone a car - being given the Design Centre label was a big achievement in 1984. Shame that the feat was overshadowed pretty quickly by the model's poor build quality, premature rust and unreliability, then.

By the way, I totally agree with you about Citroën cars ;)
