Two very stylish, very 1980s British adverts for the exciting new Austin Montego, one of a succession of cars which was touted as the saviour of British Leyland/Rover Group/MG Rover, which ultimately folded in 2005:





Shep sez: Any product - let alone a car - being given the Design Centre label was a big achievement in 1984. Shame that the feat was overshadowed pretty quickly by the model's poor build quality, premature rust and unreliability, then.

LOL... Thank you... They are, I admit, probably for a specific audience..but I'm very fond of both the styling and the ride. Driving for hours in one spoils you for just about everything else.
