Date: 2008-10-29 04:15 pm (UTC)Well, but we don't know what the mpg is, because we're not told what “one supply of gasolene” is! A five gallon jerrycan? An 8 hp engine is probably two-cylinder, so it probably does get pretty good mileage, with a top speed of maybe thirty mph under ideal conditions. Essentially equivalent to a motor-scooter, but much heavier, of course.
It would be a hoot to drive.
