1943 One-A-Day ad
Oct. 3rd, 2008 09:08 amOct 1943 Better Homes and Gardens ad for One-A-Day vitamins. Click through for the text beneath the cartoons, if you're interested. Looks like in 1943, large dose daily vitamins were fairly new. Selling points: instead of taking many vitamins to get your daily requirement, you only have to take - wait for it - one a day. Apparently the A&D supplement is equal to 1 1/2 teaspoons of cod liver oil, so that's a plus. Also, it's produced by the makers of Alka Seltzer. Buy yours today!
