in the second picture with the yellow shoe it says, "FLAIR...mule that's the mostest a hostess could ask for!" I can let the mostest/hostess thing go, but how exactly does the word mule fit in there?

Daniel Green (http://www.danielgreen.com) specializes in slippers, not outdoor shoes. Most of them in this era would have had soft suede soles.

I am particularly amused by Sabra, the Christmas shoe with the Israeli name!
