when I was in high school group came to our church to preform and they had 3 guys that played the saws - well all I can tell you is they sound kind of like cats in heat or like you took a cat by the tail and spun it around

Yeah, my dad did that. He plays around with a lot of instruments - some conventional (organ, piano, clarinet) and some not so much (Saw, computer duet in the 80's when it was unique at a small town church, verillon). The say does not sound nice (kind of shrill and quavery), but it does make a recognizable tune. I'm not at all sure how it is supposed to translate into "make big money". :P
