this ad should remind everyone who likes to eat frosting out of the can that it didn't always come that way!! you once had to buy it in a box and make it!

Actually, I kind of preferred making it... that way you could buy a box of white frosting, and make just a little at a time with various 'flavourings' and food coloring and not end up with 3/4 of a can in the fridge being tempting.

lol. The people I know sure don't make icing (what we call it here) from either a box OR a can. We make it with icing sugar.
So the idea of it being in a box to mix up, OR a can is pretty weird for me.

Jiffy Mix still makes boxed frosting. I just like the idea of smearing that stuff around in a giant mound, like on the box.
