I've only ever heard it referred to as the Gateway Arch. I think Saarinen was the designer or architect.

I prefer the Saarinen designed TWA terminal at JFK

The first time I visited New York, we flew TWA just so we could come into this terminal. Nowadays, though, it seems so tiny and inefficient. It's based on a notion of gracious travel that just doesn't exist anymore. (If the word "gracious" was ever truly applicable to JFK.)

Eero Saarinen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eero_Saarinen) was the designer of the arch. I don't think it was actually named for him, though.

What cracks me up about this ad is that I live in Manhattan, and nobody here cooks much of anything. Kitchens are tiny and all restaurants deliver. I don't know anybody in the city who has a whole set of pots like that.

"its the headiest, happiest way to do all your cooking and serving"

1. shouldn't there be an "of" between "all" and "your" "all your" reads funny to me.

2. HEADIEST! ... what exactly are we cooking in these here pots?
