My cats shudder at the thought that there once was a world with no Fancy Feast!

My cats have presented a list of demands in response to this ad, and we are currently engaged in negotiations to convince them that the bottom has not suddenly fallen out of the canned food market. I will be retreating to the pet store later in order to procure Wellness canned food in order to convince them to release their hostages, which consist of one flash drive, a can of peas, and some lint. (They're not very good at building a strong platform for argument.) Please, maintain some sense of care when posting this sort of reactionary material in future!

No, they should be sent to church-approved psychiatrists to be cured of their deviancy.

Psychiatrists are evil. What they need is to take vitamins and go for lots of walks.

I would have said that, except that a dog's paws are ill-equipped to hold an e-meter.

And the only question would be "WHO'S A GOOD BOY? WHO'S A GOOD BOY?"

Cat food per se is a relatively new product. When my mother was growing up in the '30s and '40s, you'd buy dog food for your cat--there wasn't special food just for felines.

In my mom's day, "your" cat would have to fend for itself outside.

Pretty kitty in your icon! He looks a little like a shorter-haired version of my Baby. Same big, green eyes, same long whiskers, same alert expression, similar stripes.

Separated at birth omg!

My boy is a Manx, but instead of having the typical stub for a tail, he's got like a mutated, half developed tail. it's all crooked, like right angles crooked. And fluffy. It's hilarious.

Awww! Crooked, fluffy kitty! =)

Baby is a Maine Coon mix. She weighs about 14 pounds (still less than Aldous Huxley, the Box of Rocks), and when wet, she apparently loses about half her mass. She's also twitching her tail at my typing right now, so I'll stop. Oh, no, my cats aren't spoiled. Not at all!

Oh man I was totally about to say mine acts like a Maine Coon! I really want a Maine Coon so badly, they are absolutely precious. Gentle giants...hee.

Baby's a bit of a diva because she's a mix, but she's a beautiful, affectionate cat, and she loves to crawl under the blankets in winter and snuggle. She also gives kisses. When she's not being a mischievous little butt.

Hee! Crazy Cat Necro FTW!

I believe in keeping the lives of the elderly meaningful as they trundle off into the twilight.

My cat would probably try to cut me if I attempted to feed it this. :/
