This is by far my favorite LJ community, not only for the content but for its lack of drama and its hilarious, laid-back contributors/commenters. So sorry you're dealing with this! I have an opinion of people of propagate Internet drama and it's not along the lines of "socially adept and easygoing."

Thank you! I purchased a set of my own to fly when I saw his Holiness the Dalai Lama last summer at an outdoor venue in Chicago. They are faded already, and I guess it's time to burn them and get some more. Sending blessings and prayers out to my neighbors, the city, the world via the wind is a lovely thing.

I got to see HH The Dalai Lama in Los Angeles a while back. What an amazing, inspirational man, he inspired the audience with such happiness and compassion. I always smile and giggle a bit when I think of his infectious laugh.

It really seemed like there were only a few names going back and forth, that it sounded staged, and then when the rest of the community jumped in, either in defense or to say, "What the hell's going on?!?", I don't know, it seemed their responses were real, and the others were... I can't put my finger on it, but to only say they seemed premeditated, staged. Like it was a troll's work to pretend to be in a war of words, flaming us up.

I dunno; that's my take on it.

this has been, for the most part, such a nice community. I really enjoy the various posts. I only once objected about the Lysol feminine hygiene ads because they'd been posted so repeatedly, and by the same person, that it sure seemed to be purposely offensive. I believe that poster is at the heart of this little war here. It's a pity when people misbehave in public.
