Somehow, mayonnaise on top of a huge parfait-type thing doesn't seem all that appealing.

my aunt used to eat mayo out of the jar with a spoon.

I'm cool with mayo on sandwiches but...on an apple jelly...thing? Hell no.

I think this is the prettiest mold-thing I've seen to date.

the words mandarin, minted, and mayo just DO NOT belong together ever. In the jello thing I can almost see it working like cream, but dolloped on top just eww.

ok i didn't want to comp to it but... ever since i was little my dad would sometimes open a can of peaches, pears, or pineapple, put a few pieces in a side dish bowl with a dollop of mayo and if we were feeling frisky some shreded cheese on top of that. to be eaten concurrently with dinner.

If anyone finds themselves in need of challenging gravity with their stomach, the bathroom is down the hall. :o}

A friend of mine has some disgusting mayo eating habits. He eats mayo on french fries and hot dogs, and if he gets it on his fingers, he'll lick it off instead of using a napkin.

<*upchucks violently*>

Holdjer upchuck there just a minute.

Belgian Frites (http://www.belgianfries.com/index.cfm?Module=recept2): mayo and fries have been around forever, and they're mighty delicious together.

Mmm... mayo on hot dogs and french fries... are we friends? Wait, I'm not a he. But I like all that stuff... although I actually prefer Miracle Whip... a big ol' dollop on top of a sliced tomato is goooooood.

Really though, Waldorf Salad is essentially made of apples, celery and mayonnaise. And it's pretty damn delicious.

This molded thing has a dollop of mayo on top because A) it has mayo in the recipe, and B) it's an ad for mayo.

I don't mind the idea of sweet/savory contrast, I guess. Dunno if I want to add 'mint', but: hey.

Is there any possibility of getting this in a higher resolution? I want to make it, but I can't make out the recipe very well!

Could someone double check my work?

Actually, by squinting, I may have gotten it:

Mandarin Minted Mold

Blend 1/2 cup Kraft Mayonaise with 1/2 cup Kraft Mint Flavored Apple Jelly which has been melted in 1/2 cup water. Add 1 3-oz. package lime flavored gelatin dissolved in 1 cup boiling water. Chill until slightly thickened.

Then fold in 1 cup each diced pears and mandarin orange sections and 1/3 cup chopped pecans. Pour into 5-cup mold, chill until firm. 6 servings.
