Still having scanning fun with the May 1973 Women's Day...

Where's this soap now?? you'd think with all the strep and staph around this would be useful?? and why are they promoting "No hexachlorophene"?

1) there's a lot of anti-bacterial soap currently out there (in fact, it's harder to find soap that isn't anti-bacterial)

2) it's not a good idea to use anti-bacterial soap in a non-clinical setting. all we end up doing is killing off the weaker bacteria and allowing the stronger, more resistant bacteria that survive to propagate, thus creating stronger and more resistant strains of bacteria over time. this is a pretty well-documented phenomenon, and is due to thinks like anti-bacterial soap, overuse of alcohol hand rubs, and not taking all of your antibiotic meds as prescribed.

again, sorry, i just think this is a pretty big issue. don't get me wrong, i find this ad pretty amusing, thanks for scanning it.

The oldest boy does not look to happy to be bathing with the other ones or to have his head brushed. I will not go into the woman and her 3 men.
