Hullo!

About a year ago I went to a flea market and picked up a Popular Science magazine from April, 1920. There are a lot of gems in there. Not every single one is an ad, per say, but it is all extremely interesting.

It's hard to imagine that $4,000 a year could be something to get excited over. Boy, the times, they are a-changin'!



How do you think she'd measure up by today's standards?

Me too :) I used to have a ton of old women's magazines from the '30's and '40's. I was borrowing them from my ex's mother. They're...gone now :(

I think it's funny that it's an article based on her perfect figure but they have her wearing a tent. You can see her calves...and that's about it!
