/ Awwww, maaan! Mah car's door iz busted! /

I always used to laugh at this when I was a kid, thinking that the guy in the commercial was Barry Gibb from the Bee Gees --- So deep was our hatred for disco in Chicago --- That his career had ended, and he had been reduced to driving a beater with a door that fell off.

And they STILL use that scene with the door falling off in their commercials...

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your "nope" comment, but that's who this commercial is for... ?

My sister once went into a White Castle for a coke (before the drive-thru days) one late night after a concert, and a guy, who looked like a burn-out throw back from the 70's, was in there, pissed that the line was so long, and he said, fuming, "I KNEW I shouldn't have come into this fucked up place in the first place!"

He looked just like the guy in this commercial, so when we see this commercial and his door falls off (IT'S STILL RUNNING!), we do the voice-over: Aw, man, I KNEW I shouldn't have bought this fucked up car in the first place!

I dig his thick leather wrist brace.
