No really, see this. It makes Xanadu look like Citizen Kane.

AMAZING. I've had that in my Netflix queue for awhile, but seeing this makes me want to move it up quite a few spaces.

OMFG OMFG THAT IS BATSHIT INSANE! And I love how it manages to mix 3 different decades into a singular crazy...film.

And lolz @ the Hoff!

And you'll see why 1994 won't be like 1984.

I know. The entire time I was watching that, I was expecting them to be bowing down to an oversized Apple IIe.

It's a lot better than Steve Jobs constantly flaunting his better taste in music than mine. (OTOH, the ads are about the only thing that makes me want one.)

I looooooooove this movie. It's the craziest batshit, filmed at the convention center in West Berlin, and so fabulously awful.

It's on Netflix and it's a must see!

If you're really lucky and have a Landmark Theatre in your town, ask for it as a midnight. One 35mm print of this thing is still in existence. If you thought it was nuts little, try the big screen.
I remember it from cable when I was little, though. And somehow still remembered all the damn (bad) songs.

I wonder if that was somehow the inspiration for the character Sharon Apple in "Macross Plus".

"I've never been so high in my entire life!"

It's always funny when the screenwriter makes a cameo appearance in a film.

*looks at the original-release VHS copy of "The Apple" on my shelf*
*shudders*

I've heard about it for years, I hope it comes to my Landmark theater again.
