Years ago -- 1969, maybe -- I saw Homer and Jethro perform live. There was a heckler in the audience, which I thought was part of the act (I was later assured it was not). They put him down every time he opened his yap, and the only thing I remember them saying to him was "Why don't you eat Bran Flakes and be one of the Reg'lar Fellas?"
