Weekend Events Starting tomorrow!!
Aug. 17th, 2017 12:00 pm18-20 Friday - Sunday Weekend Events: Chicago & Shampoo Ads for the city of Chicago (GO CUBS!); and shampoo ads
Side note: Whereas we don't allow politicking, as we have members with a variety of political affiliations, Vintage Ads stands firmly on the side of equality. In the same vein as we rabbled about Russia's draconian homophobic laws, we can most certainly rabble about the apparent acceptance by the American President condoning white power rallies. Typing that made me feel sick. What year is this?!
To be silent is to be complicit. If posting anti-dictator ads, anti-nazi ads, is a release valve for you, please continue. If you are offended by that, then perhaps Vintage Ads isn't the place for you, and you can go get a Polynesian tiki torch made in China at Home Depot. And if you just don't like stuff like this in Vintage Ads, then just keep scrolling.
Just please don't attack republicans as a whole. Not only would that be politicking, the majority of them, are just as 'wtf' as the rest of us. They should all read Profiles in Courage and learn to put country before party, before it's too late. Actually all Senators, regardless of party should read that. Might help break down the deep partisanship.
