...does anyone use toast caddies anymore? Or do they just have antiquated charm? I like my toast warm, and I know it wouldn't be so in one; but it'd look classy!

Like my toast done under a grill and a lot lighter browned than herein displayed. Never use a toaster because they always seem to be too brown for me.

Aw, that is a charming addition to the breakfast table. I have never seen one in action.

I love toast caddies! I always get so excited when I see them on Downton Abbey.

They seem to only make sense if a lot of people are having toast at the same time. But they
are
quite charming.

They're neat to see in old films - like the whole married couples in twin beds thing, and women wearing bras underneath their negligées. They seem perfect for large groups eating breakfast at once, and how often does that happen nowadays in typical homes? :/

I will believe the toast caddy exists when I actually see one. #fakenews

I have a toast rack, and use it.
