Yes!!! What a great show that was, and how we rushed home from school to see it. The films went overboard on the gore, though ... but the ongoing program was just great. Jonathan Frid came to town and we all drove to see him in a cow pasture, no kidding! He did a personal appearance in a tent like a revival show or something and there was a big line we waited in to shake his hand. *holds up hand* It was this one. What a trouper to tout his show like that.
Since these were feature films, I imagine they have a bigger budget and a more leisurely shooting schedule than the series, thus were probably free of the uncredited special guest star of every episode of the TV show: the boom mike.
It was hilarious. The mike, the "brick wall" that quivered whenever anyone brushed against it, the actors staring off camera to receive their prompts ... gads, I loved that show.
